Communications helps its clients achieve
success by working with them to:
To do this, we utilize a variety of communications disciplines: public relations, investor relations, marketing, financial relations, research, direct mail, graphic/Web design and advertising, to name just a few. But the most important communications tools we use are these: asking, listening, thinking and acting. In order to help our clients succeed, we realize we first need to understand their needs, their problems and their goals. That’s why we tend to ask a lot of questions first, before trying to solve a particular problem. It’s similar to the Japanese philosophy of “Ready, aim, aim, fire!” Or as one wise associate put it, “Measure twice, cut once." We believe effective and efficient strategic communications programs and materials can only be implemented and created through responsiveness, objectivity, creativity and integrity. How we follow through on this philosophy is manifested in a variety of ways, often through seemingly insignificant actions. Such as being reachable during non-office hours, or by saying “No,” or “We disagree,” when a different approach may provide a better solution. Such a philosophy is shown by using a unique or unexpected task when usual avenues are tired and timeworn. We also feel it’s exhibited by advising a client to do nothing or to spend less money when it’s appropriate to do so. To assist us in our ongoing efforts, our employees and our firm have become active participants in several local, national and international associations. Some of the more notable non-profit and not-for-profit organizations we are (or have been) affiliated with include: This involvement keeps us current on industry information and techniques and also allows us to serve the community on a pro bono basis. |
